Pilot Information

Anoka County-Blaine Airport (ANE), also known as Janes Field, is a public airport located in the city of Blaine in Anoka County, Minnesota, about 10 miles north of Minneapolis. Runway 9-27 is 5,000' x 100', and Runway 18-36 is 4,855' x 100'. A precision approach is available on Runway 27. A non-federal aircraft control tower is operational from 7a.m. to 9p.m. in the winter and 7a.m. to 10p.m. in the summer.

Mode C Waiver

Because many different type of aircraft wish to attend the event, we understand that not all aircraft are equipped with Mode C Transponders. We have received a waiver from the FAA for such aircraft so they may fly into ANE during the event.
